My Review:

Taking a chance and going on the adventure of a lifetime is just what Violet does in this sensually written paranormal romance. It’s a great thing to add spontaneity to life and try new things, and perhaps make a dream come true. Nour leaves you (literally) at the edge of your seat, eager to discover what’s to become of Violet and her mysterious lover Adrian. I’m hoping the author takes this couple a step further in a future book! Anyone that enjoys a quick erotic paranormal romance will enjoy reading A Vampire’s Kiss.

TREACHEROUS TEMPTATIONS was very much inspired by the dark and romantic novels of the 18th century in which virtue vs. vice and plots to despoil virgins were very popular themes, books like Clarissa Harlowe by Samuel Richardson or Les Liaisons Dangereuses by LaClos. Similar to these classic tales, my story features an innocent country girl who, unlike the former heroines, is neither insipid nor naive, but still inadvertently becomes a pawn in a deadly game of revenge and intrigue.

EXCERPT

"Darling, I never thought you obtuse. You must wed the chit before someone else claims her fortune."

"Wed her?" the words jarred him out of his ruminations. "Is your mind disordered of a sudden, Barbara? I have no plans to wed anyone. Ever."

She gave him a petulant look. "But how else do you suppose we are to get our hands on her money?"

"Is that the scheme you had in mind when you wrote me? To bilk an unwary young heiress of her fortune?"

"Brilliant, isn't it?" She laughed. "I told you I had discovered a means of getting it all back—and so much more. She is exceedingly rich and once we have the money, it should be no trouble at all to secure the influence needed to restore your title."

"How much?" he asked, veiling his interest. "What is the girl actually worth?"

She crawled onto his lap and laved her tongue up his neck. "That information will come at a price." She was begging to be taken again and Hadley felt nothing…or rather nothing but an immense sense of relief that he was over her. He jerked his head away. "I'm not in the mood for any more games."

"Pity," she pouted. "Have you another lover now, Hadley? Or perhaps you have developed a penchant for Venice's unnatural pleasures? Most well-travelled men do, you know. And I confess your valet was an exceptionally pretty creature."

"How much?" he repeated icily, ignoring her insinuation.

She sighed. "I can't begin to tell you how much work that took to discover. Sir Richard is tediously protective of her assets."

"Sir Richard? What has he to do with this?" Hadley demanded.

"Yes, darling," she rolled her eyes. "That same obnoxious boor. Did I not tell you the girl is his ward?"

"That girl is Sir Richard's ward?" When the girl in the music room had introduced herself as Mary Elizabeth Edwardes he had not made the connection, but then again, wily Sir Richard had taken care not to reveal anything about the Edwardes heir.

"One and the same my love, and worth every bit of fifty thousand a year! That plump little pigeon is one of the richest women in England, and thanks to me, she is yours for the plucking."

The blood roared in his ears. It was just too bloody good to be true. The very one who held his lands was residing under Barbara's roof. The girl was not only the means to a large fortune but also of revenge. "That certainly does throw a different light on matters." He took heed not to betray his growing excitement. "But you and I both know Sir Richard would see me hanged before granting consent for me to wed his ward."

She smiled. "Who said anything about seeking his consent?"

"You intend for me to despoil her to force a marriage? My dear Barbara, such rude and crass methods don't suit me at all. The entire thing lacks finesse."

My Review: A short and satisfying read that’s a great start to the Sons of Navarus series; it definitely had me wanting more! I loved the vibe Vasilije (love that vamp) threw off and his lifestyle, so very carefree. A different type of romance that will haunt your dreams and a must read for any paranormal romance fan.

Brandon is a different type of vampire then we are used to. He actually comes off more human than vampire right from the start (which is not a bad thing at all), even though he has vampire powers. He’s handsome, has a huge heart and knows what he desires to have for the rest of his eternal life and refuses to stoop to the level his fellow vampire comrades do. He mostly stays to himself and is not so free giving with his body. (He’s still a total hottie and I enjoy his ways.)

Arden recently lost her father and has been homeless ever since. Running away from a male that wants to do lord knows what with her, she runs straight into an unknown place and right into the arms of Brandon. Brandon offers his help to her and gives it in a rather… creative way, then offers her a job with him as a maid. From there things change for both of them in the most delightful ways imaginable :)

This can be read and enjoyed whether you are reading it as a stand-alone, in between books or after you enjoyed the other books in the Sons of Navarus series. I CANNOT wait for more!

My Review: An amazing start to a new series that is action packed, fun, romantic and manages to both satisfy while it leaves you wanting much more. I love Krystal’s writing style, her characters and her story telling skills. They are all very hot, addictive and detailed to the point they are perfect visions in your mind. Any fan of the paranormal romance genre will fall in love with Chasing Sam again and again!

What’s a gal to do when she has her life all planned out, perfectly mapped when suddenly out of the blue she meets her mate who is unacceptable because she is part of royalty and he is not? Fight for what she knows is right and what she believes in. This proves extremely difficult when her parents interfere and make it so the chances of being with her mate become very slim. It’s a screwed up tradition that their level of royalty hold a hunt once she’s at the age of 25, the winner gets to claim the female as his mate. Now she must watch the male that is her mate challenge others to win his chance to be with with her. We all know how fate works when someone tries to interfere… Yea, fate gets pissed off!

I look forward to seeing where Krystal will go next in the series. With an ending like the one we have here, patience is definitely a virtue. I want more! Please :)

 Samantha Demakis wrinkled her nose at the barrage of scents coming from the Christmas hordes invading McCarran International Airport. She swallowed a growl of frustration and tightened the leash on her inner wolf. Everybody and their brother traveled for Christmas, and she didn’t like being one of them. She should have stayed at Duke. Her gut told her it was a mistake to come home.

Duke Medical School was her haven away from all this crazy.

People jostled her from all angles. Her rolling suitcase flipped over and she leaned back to right it. In the process, someone snatched her blue leather jacket from the carpeted floor and dashed away.

Shit. Really?

She straightened and scanned the crowd in the direction the thief had run.

Nothing.

“Miss.”

Sam turned and looked to her left. Holy mother of hotness! Six and a half feet of beautiful man, dressed in a muscle-hugging beige thermal shirt and army camo pants, stood holding her royal-blue leather jacket. She curled her lips into a smile. His scent was magnetic, and she hurried toward him.

“Thank you so much.” She reached for the jacket, brushing her fingers along his hand on purpose. “I thought it was gone for good.” His blue eyes widened just for a moment. A charge had passed between them. She’d never felt anything like it before. Her wolf howled and slammed against her consciousness. It took every scrap of will power not to launch herself at him. The canine soul within her wanted him right now and so did she. The mate connection between them was strong. No, no, no. I don’t want a mate right now.

“No problem, Miss…”

“Demakis, Sam Demakis, ummm… Samantha. Sorry.” She stumbled over her name like a love-struck sixteen-year-old instead of the perfectly capable twenty-five-year-old she was.

“Ask his name.” Her wolf urged.

He gave her a gentle grin. “It’s fine, Sam. Nice to meet you, I’m Chase Michaels.”

“I’m surprised I didn’t notice you on the plane.” It was strange that she hadn’t caught his scent earlier. But it was probably because she tried for the most part to avoid other wolves.

Chase chuckled. “I don’t tend to ride in first class.”

Sam felt her cheeks warm. He’d known she was there. Maybe being away from the pack really was making her lazy, but she loved not having to deal with the stress of the politics.

“Thank you again,” she said and found herself lost in his sparkling bright blue eyes. No, focus. Medical school, not a man.

A stand-alone read that any fan of the genre will enjoy. Just be sure to have a nice cool drink by word side, it gets pretty hot ;)

 Hollis took a job working in a rural school district teaching biology to teenagers. She is content to be away from the fast paced and noisy surroundings of New York City. She is also happy to be close once again to her friend Maggie. But at the same time she is (happy) yet envious of the relationship Maggie now has. Which is two very hot (and then some) men.

Daniel and Josiah work in the school where Hollis is for the summer. They both take an immediate liking to Hollis once she enters the school. They both have secrets that they are not yet willing to share and hoping Hollis will not find out about. But both want her with untamed desire.

Now there is Dylan (Daniel's brother). He's one tough dude! He has a hard time moving forward from the past, but Hollis manages to crack that hard shell of his and open him, his heart and mind to the possibility of happiness in the future.

This is by far my favorite ménage quartet ever (yes, I called them a quartet. You will have to read it to see why *wink)!! A fast paced, action packed, steam inducing erotic read that had me snagged from start to finish. I love the mind of Kris Norris and the sensual worlds she creates!

Nash, Mace and Landon are part of a hot popular band that have lived through a very traumatic experience and have changed drastically because of it. Reese is a single woman with a spine of steel; a heart just as strong and determined that has also recently been through a traumatic experience. She has been unable to work for some time due to an injury obtained on the job. She's asked to help out to solve and protect Trinity from an "admirer". Little do they all know what fate has in store for them all as they all embark on a mysterious adventure to solve the who of the person(s) behind many attempts to kill the Trinity.

A definite must read for all erotic fans out there ;)
