Goodreads Blurb:
Lincoln Croft isn’t the most reputable man. Disillusioned by the ever-continuing war between the Coalition and the Alliance, he’s made a living running dangerous goods between the worlds, using his ship, the Andromeda, to outrun enemy striker crafts and avoid certain prosecution. And the fact he can hack into any computer system ever made certainly doesn’t hurt his chances at a successful mission.

After a recent crusade to help free the condemned planet of Venitia gains him a full pardon, Linc has decided to give honest work a try. Just his luck, his old nemesis, Captain Frank Bane, has other ideas. An unexpected meeting forces Lincoln to crash-land on the very planet he swore he wouldn’t set foot on again. And the surface of Venitia hasn’t changed. Hot, dry and dangerous, Linc knows he needs to get to the settlement before he becomes some creature’s dinner.

He never planned on running into Gwendolyn Bennet, the one woman he’d never quite gotten over. After a less than warm welcome, Gwen begrudgingly agrees to help Linc reach the colony. But Bane isn’t giving up. He’s determined to destroy Lincoln, and the Andromeda, even if it means annihilating Venitia.

My Review:
I was waiting for this one! Kris Norris (once again) did an amazing job taking sci-fi and making it erotic, exciting and fun. A great read for any fans of the genre out there. Just beware of the trolls!

Linc is what’s known as a runner. He takes supplies to places that are in need. He’s the captain and crew of his ship (Andromeda) and has been for some time. This changes what he crashes; sorry I mean crash lands, on a dangerous planet and runs smack into a lost love.

Gwen has taken a different path in life than any expected of her. What was she to do when the love of her life leaves her high and dry? Life just went on for her… Little does she know there’s more to it all than she thinks. Life and the why’s to why she was left by the man she loved(s). Could it be he never TRULY left her after all?

An excellent addition to the series that can be read as a stand-alone. I look forward to what the author will bring us next! Will there be another in the Dark Horizon series? I hope so :)

Goodreads Blurb:
Captain Kell Halloway thought his days of fighting the good fight were over. After years of following orders in what he thought was the name of peace, he’s broken all ties with the Coalition and is determined to make amends for his mistakes. Captain and sole member of the Orion, he’s living a life of existence, running supplies and cargo across the heavens, hoping to find some shred of redemption. That is until he discovers a stowaway…one that turns his world upside down.

Sage didn’t plan to sneak aboard a ship, but an untimely insurrection forces her into action and into Kell’s arms. A stolen kiss turns out to be more than she bargained for, and she’s left facing a new problem—one much more dangerous than the squadron of soldiers still hunting her.

But the clock is ticking. She has only one chance to free a colony under an unjust rule, and only one man to turn to for help.

My Review:
I've always LOVED sci-fi (shhh, don't tell anyone. I have a rep to uphold here!) Add on an erotic edge, excitement and some great humor. I'm hooked! A great read for any fans of the genre looking for a great escape into a great read :)

Sage is a rarity, smart, beautiful and strong. Not just your average strong either. She’s kick many asses at once without blinking type strong. She’s in an odd predicament and finds herself in another one just to avoid getting caught. But her second predicament leads her to many great things. One of them being saved by a faith she has not rightly earned.

Kell is an incredible man with an enormous heart and a yearning for redemption. He pilots his ship alone. Helping others by bringing them supplies. One day during a pick-up he sees a woman in duress. What’s a man to do but offer his assistance. Little did he know what his helping them female would bring about both within him and in his life.

An excellent start to a new series. One that has left craving much more. Cannot wait to get my greedy eyes on book 2!

My Review: Eve Langlais has created a fun, funny, endearing and erotic adventure that any reader will find hard to put down for even a second. There’s a amazing build, excellent characters and great humor that will have you laughing yourself into tears. The antics between all of the characters are very entertaining, the sexual tension and attraction is so thick it’s hard to breathe. The author created great couples that are perfectly suited for one another even though they are from different races and places. Even if you are not a fan of Alien based reads, you will have an out of this world good time reading about this Accidental Abduction!

I was provided a copy of the book by BTS eMag for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review – all conclusions are my own responsibility.
