Goodreads Blurb:

When executive woman Katie Warren arrives in the picturesque village of Little Marplethorpe for a country holiday, to reassess her life and her future, she doesn't bargain on ending up in a hot three way love affair with a man she's admired from afar... and his gorgeously handsome male partner.

Marcus Dane and Owen Foster are lovers, committed for a lifetime, but they both enjoy the company of women as friends and bedmates too. Encountering Katie at an exhibition of his work, Marcus knows she's just the kind of bold, daring, imaginative woman who'll relish sharing erotic games with Owen and himself.

But what none of the trio expect is that their intense, steamy threesome will quickly deepen into a bond that's a lot more than just simply fabulous sex.

My Review:
Tempted by Two is a very sensual, erotic and tantalizing read that starts right off with the good stuff. There are MM & MMF scenes that will make your toes curl & any fan of the genre pant for more ;)

Katie is away for a couple of weeks trying to clear her head and plan her future. She winds up not thinking at all...well much. But instead is being tempted by one yummy artist and his lover all just from admiring a certain painting. It's nothing but fun and fireworks from there and, well...lots of sweaty indoor and outdoor sex!

This was a good story and I enjoyed it and the chemistry among the trio. But I wanted, no needed more! I felt as if I was left hanging a but by the end and I also did not know Katie as well as I knew Owen and Marcus. However I do plan to look into more of this authors work. I'm also hoping that MAYBE a sequel is in the making :)

Want a Sexy Snippet?

“It’s just a little ice,” he spoke in a low, seductive manner.  Taking the cube of ice, he brought it from her pussy, to her bountiful melon shaped breasts.  As he locked his eyes on hers, David traced along the perimeter of her now hardened nipples.

Mel moaned in delight, as he masked the chill of the ice with the warmness of his tongue.  “Whoa!” she cringed, taking another deep breath.  Her juices were slowly making their way from the top of her spine, down her back and crashing down between her legs.

David was an expert at this beyond any doubt and he basked in the knowledge that he was pleasuring her, immensely.  His sweet caresses became more intense as he rolled his tongue over an around her hardened nipple. Tearing his lips away from her, he allowed a few droplets of the water to sip from the melting ice cube to her overly sensitive peak.  As the cold liquid, landed on her, a jolt of pleasure cut through Mel.  Once again, her breath caught in her throat, when he took her nipple into the warmness of his mouth, sucking hard and amplifying her desire for him

When he suddenly withdrew himself and took her into his arms again, she almost cursed him for stopping.  However, she quickly realized that they were simply moving to his bedroom.

#WedBriefs Flash Fiction It's All in the Tips #2 by A.R. Von

Happy Hump Day and welcome to Wednesday Briefs Flash Fiction! As always, I was given various options to inspire this weeks brief. I chose to go with the following 1 photo and the word prompt "If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch".

I hope you enjoy & thank you for reading!

"It's All in the Tips #2"

The night has been going fairly well. Drinks and conversation are flowing as should be. Some couples are dancing. Others are just sitting around observing while nursing their drinks. I’ve not been able to get Mr. Sexy out of my mind for even a full minute and it’s driving me a bit mad. No one has ever affected me in this way before. Not even close actually.
I let out a frustrated sigh and focus back on two particular patrons I think just might become a problem tonight. They’re not together. At least as far as I can tell anyway. They’re not seated close to one another and I’ve not noticed them chat or even glance in the others direction.  What makes them so suspicious to me is they’ve each been pounding down shots like they’re drinking water after a five mile race. I have an odd sort of sixth sense when it comes to this sort of thing. The ‘something is going to go wrong’ type of thing.  I’m not always accurate with my feelings. But I’m usually damned close!

One of them is a hefty mocha skinned guy. He purchased a bottle of Patron Silver about two hours ago and has been at it all by himself and the bottle only has about a shot or two worth left. To be honest, he doesn’t even look a touch tipsy. The other drinker is Mr. Mocha’s polar opposite. He’s fair skinned and thin as a bean pole. But tall and mean looking. He looks even meaner with his fifth high ball of Jameson about finished. WOW!

Regardless, they’re my responsibility while at ‘Get Your Drink On’ and solely mine while I’m working. All of the patrons are. I take my job very seriously. It’s not just about slinging bottles and swinging my hips for tips to me. I make sure no one tries to drive themselves home or anyone else for that matter when they’re under the influence. I also try my best to make sure those patrons who have overindulged are not taken advantage of by those that have no morals or conscience. Yes, it’s a lot for one person to take on but I’m big on safety first!

I also have two taxi services that are on call for me during my shifts. Just as long as I call them at the start and give them a heads up that is. It’s great to have friends all around. In this case, they’re helping me and my customers stay safe.  While I’m helping them make money—it works and I like it.

I’m now cleaning the last glass Darla, my coworker and one of my BFF’s brought to me during the final round clean up. It’s one O’clock in the morning and getting close to closing time. I look up from placing it on the drying rack and notice a woman walk in like she owns the joint. Which I know she doesn’t, because Linc is the owner. He has been since I started working here…the last 7 years. Most likely, a ton of years before that I bet.

I can see she’s already tipsy because she’s swaying on her feet. By the looks of it, she’s come from a costume party. Well, unless she dresses like a pirate wench 24-7. You never know! She pauses and looks around the place. For what, I’ve no clue. I just hope it’s not trouble. Anything but trouble!

She spots who she wants which is my other BFF and coworker, Marcia. The pirate hooch straightens her spine up, pulls her shoulders back and then starts running at Marcia like a linebacker. I reach for my aluminum bat next to the taps and hop the bar. I make it to Marcia’s side before the woman does. “Chica, who is the hooch wench coming at you like you stole her man?”

Marcia turns to look and her face pales. “Oh hell! Renee, I’m so sorry she came by here. I don’t—”

Just then, the two men I was keeping my eyes on intercepted the pirate hoochie by stepping right in her path and sandwiching her. Lucky! Those two are pretty hot!

The woman looks very afraid now as each guy grabs one of her elbows and spins her around toward the front door. I follow all of this with my eyes and see the one and only Mr. Sexy walk into the bar with Troy hot on his heels. Mr. Sexy turns to Troy and says something then points at the wench and the two dudes. Troy walks up to them and snatches the woman from the other two men. The two that are pretty freakin sober for pounding down so much hard liquor!

The woman pulls free from Troy’s arms. She whirls and eyes Marcia then shouts, “If you can’t run with the big dogs stay on the porch bitch!”

Marcia starts to shake in her skin but her face remains unreadable.

Troy and one of the big drinker guys have the wench heading back towards the door. So much for a perfect shift. Oh well, bright side is no one got hurt. I turn to Marcia. “Later woman. You have some s’plaining to do.”

She swallows hard and nods her head. “Yea, all right. Later.”

I hop back over the bar and place the bat back in its home. Suddenly remembering Mr.  Sexy walked in. How could I possible forget something like that? Probably my adrenaline. That’s what it has to be because now that I’m thinking of him again, I’m hyper aware of his presence. I actually don’t have to look to know where he is right now. He’s at the end of the bar to my right and he’s staring at me. I feel it as if I’m looking at the two of us from a distance. It’s so strange, yet so right. His eyes roaming my body feels like ghostly fingers caressing my naked flesh.

Be sure to come back for the next brief!

Excerpt   TYLER   ‘You can’t go on living like this. This is the old you. The you before you promised me that you’d never do this to yourself again. I love you so much and can’t watch you do this to yourself.’   ‘Well then leave!’ Her stale breath hits me. The feral tone that spews from her mouth smacks me straight across the face. Her words sting like a bitch, but I’m trying not to take it personally.   ‘You don’t mean that. You love me too, I know you do.’   ‘Do I?’ Petulant eyes stare me down. I swallow hard. Why is she being so damn difficult?   ‘Well if you don’t love me, damn well pretend Mackenzie! Because each and every second I’m not with you is like torture for me and I can’t accept that you don’t love me enough to want to let me help you get through this.’ Her expression softens just a little, but it’s enough to let me know I’m making headway. Levi is still standing in the bathroom doorway, the quiet spectator while all our back and forth is going on.   In my sternest voice possible, I issue her an order.   ‘I’m going downstairs. I’m going to put the kettle on and make coffee for all of us. I’m going to make you a sandwich, which you’re damn well going to eat. Then we’re going to talk about anything you want to talk about, but whether you like it or not, we are going to talk. We’re going to talk until it doesn’t hurt anymore. I’m here for you and I’m not going anywhere. Levi is going to help you get cleaned up and you’re not going to give him a hard time about it. I know you’re hurting, Mack, but we are too. Your pain is our pain.’   I kiss the tip of her perfect little nose before rising to leave. Levi’s eyes lock with mine, respect silently offered as I make my way out.   ‘Tyler!’ I swivel around, Mackenzie’s desperate plea grounding me to the spot.   ‘Yeah?’   ‘I do love you, you know.’ Tears trickle down her cheeks, falling into the bath water as though they are the most inconsequential thing in the world. They aren’t, though. They’re everything. It means she isn’t far enough gone not to feel anything.   ‘I know you do, baby, I know you do.’

AHA Breakthrough Authors Blog Hop November 25 - 29, 2013

Hello and welcome to A.R. Von DreamZ of Dragons stop during the Breakthrough Authors Blog Hop!

I've been published for about 10 months now and love every single minute of it. Good and bad. I've always been afraid to let loose or release even a tiny piece of my imagination to the world. I still am. Luckily I have a great cheer-leading and support team that believes in me and pushes me like a Drill Sargent would his platoon. Leanore Elliott, author, editor, cover designer, friend and so much more is the one person that got me to give it a go from the start. She helped me be brave and have confidence in myself and my creations.

Now I have the Wunder series out there that is a paranormal romance/zombi-lit story that even those that are not fans of zombies enjoy. I'm working on releasing a fantasy romance titled "Lady's Destiny" and once again am grateful to have Leanore and now my readers on my side.
It's not easy. But think about it. Is anything that's REALLY worth it ever easy? No it's not. Aspiring authors reading this right now. Go for it! It will seem impossible at points, but you HAVE to give it a shot if it’s something you really want to do, live the dream. Also, NEVER compare yourself to another; find your own voice because it will speak the loudest :)

Thank you for stopping by and reading!

Now here are the giveaways and hop stops for you to enjoy...

Meeting alpaca farmer Aiden Dunne over a pint of Guinness, she is struck by his resemblance, yet to whom, she can’t quite remember. Aiden is searching for Munster Abbey for his family was connected to it for generations, culminating in the disappearance of his relative, the then Prior.

What happened all those years ago? Who or what is ‘the Wanderer’ and, more to the point, what does he want?

My Review:
Who would have thought a story about Mugs & Monasteries would be so cool? Not this chick! But it is! It's a short, mysterious, mystical, magical and fun read that many fans of the genre will enjoy!

Evie is focusing on her work researching/hunting orchids. During her journey she...loses some time and is unsure if what's happened according to her memory was/is just a dream or if it's indeed reality. She quickly finds out many truths when she meets a handsome alpaca farmer while enjoying a pint in the local pub. Was this all meant to be? Could they both be losing their marbles? You'll have to read to find out ;)

This is my second time reading this authors work and I find myself looking for more!

#WedBriefs Flash Fiction It's All in the Tips #1 by A.R. Von

Happy Hump Day and welcome to Wednesday Briefs Flash Fiction! As always, I was given various options to inspire this weeks brief. I chose to go with the following 3 photos below and the word prompts "what's your hurry" & "the world is a circle".

I hope you enjoy & thank you for reading!

I’m so freakin late right now! I can’t be late, not today of all days!
It figures the one time my boss asks me to open the bar—my car breaks down and I don’t have anyone I can call to help me out. At least I’m only two miles away from, ‘Get Your Drink On’. I’m practically running in my high heeled boots, black studded tank and skinny jeans. My purse strap is constantly sliding off my shoulder and pissing me off.
The fact that most of the way there is uphill sucks even more. I’m going to be a hot sweaty mess by the time I get there. Oh, well. Shit happens!
I’m about to turn the last corner. Of course, I’m fixing my purse strap as I make the turn and not paying attention. So, I end up running smack into what I think is a wall. I let go off my purse strap and put my hands up to stable myself and feel the most mouthwatering set of pecks I’ve ever laid my hands upon. I take a deep breath, then look up and up right into a pair of the sexiest brown eyes I’ve ever seen. Oh, my!
I can tell this guy isn’t from around here. He’s wearing a black Stetson, cowboy boots, tight ass Wrangler jeans and a fitted cream colored button down shirt. I’d swear these clothes were made just for him. He’s at least 5’11 and all muscle. I can see his dark brown hair is a bit unkempt beneath the hat because a few strands fall upon his thick brows. He has the deepest cleft, one that a woman would run her tongue and lips over forever and ever. Above that perfect chin is a pair of the most kissable lips that are currently sporting a sexy smirk. I can’t help but to lick my lips.
“What’s your hurry ma’am?”
I jolt back to myself and realize I still have my hands on his chest and his hands are gently gripping my wrists. Oh, my stars. What long sexy fingers this guy has. I can picture those digits pumping into my heat with the power of all of this hard muscle behind it. My mouth is hanging open and I can feel drool about to drip out.
I move to pull my hands away but he tightens his grip on my and suddenly turns us both back around the corner. My back is cushioned by one of his arms but air still gets knocked out of my lungs from the impact. I look to the side and see a skateboarder coming full speed down the hill.
Seemingly unable to stop, the skateboarder’s face shows complete panic.
Mr. Sexy releases me and grabs the kid, as he’s just about to roll into the street.
I didn’t even see him move. Shit is he fast!
The kid’s board gets run over by a yellow taxi and the kid is all right. He looks like he wants to cry from the loss of his board. But I think he quickly realizes his life was just saved and he gazes up at Mr. Sexy in awe. “Thanks Mister.”
Mr. Sexy places the kid on his feet and tilts his hat to the kid. “No problem, you just be careful with this hill. You shouldn’t be doing that on busy streets anyway. You could hurt yourself or someone else permanently. Safety first.”
The kid nods his head. Looking as if he’s at a loss for words. Still looking stunned, he turns and walks away. “Thank you again. I’ll be more careful.”
Mr. Sexy smiles and turns back towards me.
I’m briefly mesmerized by the brilliance of his smile. Perfectly straight white teeth are beneath two sexy lips and I get a quick flash in my mind of him nibbling my inner thigh. My heart pounds even harder than it already is.
Mr. Sexy’s smile gets even bigger.
I could swear he just read my mind. I feel my ears heat up and glance down at the ground. It’s not like me to be embarrassed or shy. It’s not like I’ve never been with anyone or hit on before. I bartend for a living. I get it on a daily basis.
In fact, he hasn’t actually hit on me or anything.
Who the hell knows what’s going on except that he just does something to me. “Uh…I gotta go. Thanks for—you know, saving me.” I turn in haste and walk the last block to get the bar open. I don’t look back to see if he’s watching. I feel his eyes on me. It’s a heat flowing through my body from my head to my toes. I know he’s taking in my goods. I keep walking, pretending not to notice and search for the bar keys in my purse. Finding them right as I arrive at the door to unlock the padlocks and lift the gate.
When I get the gate up and am about to unlock the darkened glass door, so I can go in and prep for the night. I risk a glance in the direction I left him and see he’s still standing there, staring at me. I hear a voice in my head, a masculine voice say ‘the world is a circle’. I catch his eyes and see a brief flash, as if his eyes quickly changed color or light up. I blink my eyes and give my head a shake.
I glance again in his direction and he’s gone. I heave in a deep breath and unlock the door. I hear my name being called to my right.
It’s Troy, our bouncer.
I’m so glad he’s here. I hate being alone during prep. Actually, I don’t like being alone at all in the bar.
It’s hard to pay attention to everything and tonight, I have to think up some colorful fru-fru drinks for the drink specials.
“Hey Renee. You all good?”
“Hi Troy. Yup, I’m great. Just a little late. Come on. Let’s get in a get ready for the rush.”

Be sure to come back for the next brief!
